JAY, Okla. — Ultra4 Racing officials have revealed next year’s Ultra4 USA National Championship schedule. Nine races will make up the national schedule with drivers competing for the national title getting five events to score points. There will be no double points races.
Competitors will be required to run the four races that are declared mandatory events and may choose one of five regional races on the national schedule as their fifth national points-scoring event.
The four mandatory races are King of the Hammers, Famous Reading Offroad, the Crandon Classic and Legends of Havasu.
Legends of Havasu is a West points race as well as a required National points event. Legends of Havasu cannot count as a driver’s “racers choice” score for Nationals. National Championship racers must race the four required races to be eligible.
With the criteria for the West Championship Series, drivers must race at least three West races (out of the five West designated races). The top three West regional race point totals count toward the West Championship.
As for the East Championship Series, drivers must race at least three East races (out of the five East designated races). The top three East regional point totals count toward the East Championship
