MOORESVILLE, N.C. — The final three rounds of the Nitrocross season will not be run as scheduled.
The series, which was in the midst of its fourth season, issued a statement earlier this week on its website regarding the “pause” of this season.
“We must announce that upcoming events in Phoenix, Miami, and Las Vegas, have been paused and will not continue as scheduled,” read the statement. “Any further news on the 2024/2025 season will be communicated at the appropriate time.
“If you have purchased tickets for any of these events, rest assured that you will receive a full refund automatically via Tixr. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through this process.”
The statement kept the door open for the return of the series in the future: “We remain committed to exploring new opportunities for the future of Nitrocross and motorsports. Thank you for being with us on this journey, and we will see you again soon.”
Two events were completed this season at Richmond (Va.) Raceway and the Utah Motorsports Campus. Round three was set for Firebird Motorsports Park in Arizona.
