Legends Of The Fall Goes Oct. 27-30

JAY, Okla. — The countdown to the Ultra4 Racing Series finale has begun, as the Legends of the Fall championship event, hosted by MidAmerica Outdoors is just over one week away.

Along with the Ultra4 Series, the National Rock Racing Association, the MAO Racing SXS Championship Series and the MAO Racing Pit Bike Championship Series will also reach a conclusion during the four-day event, Oct. 27-30.

The Ultra4 Racing Series features multiple classes of four-wheel drive racing and is sanctioned by USAC. It is also the series that has grown from the legendary King of the Hammers event run each February in Johnson Valley, Calif.

All of the series competing during Legends of the Fall include multiple classes of competition.

The Ultra 4 Series and NRRA will be competing on courses located in the South Grand Lake area near Langley, Okla., while the MAO Racing SXS Championship Series and the MAO Racing Pit Bike Championship Series events will be run at MidAmerica Outdoors’ Event and Recreation Center in Jay, Okla.

Action begins early on Friday morning with Ultra4 qualifying, followed by NRRA action.

The MAO Racing SXS Championship Series and the MAO Racing Pit Bike Championship Series will compete in nearby Jay, Okla., where MidAmerica Outdoors’ primary short course and a plethora of camping and lodging options are available.

While epic off-road action will be on full display throughout the weekend, there will also be several fun fan attractions to attend — including a Crawl-O-Ween on Friday night in the town of Disney.

Many of the top drivers in each respective series will be making an appearance at Crawl-O-Ween, creating a special opportunity for fans to meet their favorite racers during the vehicle line up on Main Street — beginning at 4 p.m. (CT).

Ultra4’s 4500, 4800 and 4400 divisions will run their final races on Saturday. As has been the standard through the Ultra4 season, each race will pay more than $50,000 across the classes.

On Saturday night, season awards for both Ultra4 and NRRA will be distributed at the Langley, Okla., facility.
