CRANDON, Wis. — For 54 consecutive Labor Day weekends, the forests near Crandon, Wisconsin have come to life with the roaring symphony of 1,000 horsepower trucks featured in the world’s largest short course off-road race.
Now this uniquely American Midwest tradition will explode as Crandon International Raceway today announced the appearance of legendary KISS as part of its rebirthed “Crandon Rocks 2023” concert series taking place at the track’s 54th Polaris Crandon World Championships.
Set to take place on September 1 at Crandon, the KISS concert has now been officially added to the famed band’s 2023 “End of The Road” world tour schedule.
Their Crandon Rocks 2023 performance will incorporate a complete stadium-style production, including world-class staging, sound, lighting, video, and pyrotechnics executed in pure KISS tradition.
In addition to concert admission, Crandon Rocks 2023 ticket holders can enjoy a full day of on-track racing action with the world’s best off-road racers competing in a wide variety of buggy, side-by-side and truck categories at no extra charge.
“The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe is honored to play a role in bringing KISS to Crandon, Rock & Brews to Milwaukee, and people together to enjoy this next era of entertainment in Wisconsin,” said Forest County Potawatomi Community Tribal Chairman James Crawford. “We cannot wait to welcome these two icons to the perfect backdrop of our Northwoods where we’ll show how Wisconsin truly loves to rock.”
