MILTON, Fla. — Hunt the Front, the popular grassroots race team and motorsports YouTube channel, is expanding its content offerings with the launch of its own live streaming platform through the SPEED SPORT TV affiliate network.
The all new Hunt the Front TV will feature exclusive live coverage of every race on the inaugural season of the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series presented by Sweet Victory Apparel along with live coverage of other regional dirt track events across the southeast, including select events on the Crate Racin’ USA Series, USCS Sprint Car Series and more.
“Whether it was through our blog in the early years or our YouTube channel more recently, our number one goal with HTF has always been to bring fans closer to the action of dirt track racing,” said Hunt the Front’s Joshua Joiner. “It only seems natural to continue to work toward that goal with the launch of our own live streaming platform. And we couldn’t think of a better way to do it than through a partnership with SPEED SPORT TV.”
Launched in 2019, the Hunt the Front YouTube channel takes its audience behind the scenes of the Joiner family’s dirt late model race team. Through the channel’s vlog-style videos, viewers have witnessed the team’s growth from local standouts to regional contenders while the channel itself has grown to nearly 125,000 subscribers, making it one of the top grassroots motorsports channels on YouTube.
On the back of their YouTube success, Hunt the Front gradually expanded into race promotion over the pass two years and in late 2022 announced plans to launch the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series during the 2023 race season.
“We couldn’t be more excited to work with Hunt the Front in their expansion into live streaming,” said SPEED SPORT TV Executive Director Chris Graner. “The power of the internet has opened the door for racers and race teams to create content and grow their own audience. No one in grassroots motorsports has done that better than the guys at Hunt the Front. The power of the brand they’ve built puts them in the unique position to be able to bring value to race tracks and events through streaming in a way we’ve never seen before.”
Hunt the Front TV is set to launch with exclusive coverage of this weekend’s Winter Nationals doubleheader at Southern Raceway in Milton, Fla. The annual early-season special event is headlined by complete programs for both Crate Late Models and Street Stocks both Friday and Saturday along with support divisions each night.
The 360 Sprint Cars of the USCS Series will take center stage for another doubleheader at Southern Raceway, Feb. 25-26, along with IMCA Modifieds both nights and 602 Late Models Saturday, Feb. 26, plus other support classes.
In addition, Hunt the Front TV is partnering with fellow SPEED SPORT TV affiliate IMCA.tv to offer a co-stream of the first two nights of the Clash on the Coast at Northwest Florida Speedway on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28. The inaugural event features four nights of racing for IMCA Modifieds and Crate Racin’ USA Street Stocks with a weeklong points fund for both divisions. H
unt the Front drivers Joseph Joiner and Jesse Enterkin both plan to make their open-wheel modified debuts during the event.
