It’s time for a new edition of SPEED SPORT Power Rankings. Who will be on top this week?

1. Austin Prock

Austin Prock blasted to his seventh NHRA Funny Car victory of the season in round two of the Countdown to the Championship at North Carolina’s zMAX Dragway, extending his point lead. Last Week: 1

2. Bobby Pierce

Bobby Pierce captured $50,000 for winning Saturday night’s Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals at Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway. It was his 34th dirt late model victory this season. Last Week: 2

3. Rico Abreu

Rico Abreu won Saturday night’s High Limit Racing sprint car feature during the 4-Crown Nationals at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway. It was his 11th winged sprint car victory of the season. Last Week: 5

4. Carson Macedo

Carson Macedo earned $83,000 for winning the Dennis Roth Classic at California’s Thunderbowl Raceway. It was his ninth win of the season. Last Week: 6

5. Antron Brown

Three-time NHRA Top Fuel champion Antron Brown won his second consecutive race to start the Countdown to the Championship Sunday at zMAX Dragway. It was his fifth win of the season. Last Week: Not Ranked

6. Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson dominated the NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway for his series-best fifth win of the season. He holds the point lead heading into the round of 12 of the playoffs. Last Week: Not Ranked.

7. Buddy Kofoid

Buddy Kofoid had won four out of five World of Outlaws races entering the Dennis Roth Classic at Calistoga Speedway, where he registered second- and third-place finishes. Last Week: 4.

8. Daison Pursley

Daison Pursley won a pair of USAC midget races and also picked up a sprint car triumph during the 4-Crown Nationals at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway. Last Week: Not Ranked.

9. Aaron Stanfield

Aaron Stanfield lost to Dallas Glenn in the final round of NHRA Pro Stock eliminations at zMAX Raceway, ending his two-race winning streak. He’s won five races this season. Last Week: 3

10. Connor Zilisch

Connor Zilisch has won in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, ARCA Menards Series and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition this season. Last Week: 7

On The Rise: Austin Prock and Bobby Pierce each continued their winning ways this week, while Rico Abreu and Carson Macedo continued late-season charges.

Free Falling: Matt Sheppard, Tyler Courtney and Chase Sexton dropped out of the standings this week.
