1. Ricky Thornton Jr.
Ricky Thornton Jr. grabbed his 15th dirt late model triumph of the season, winning a Castrol Night in America main event at Macon (Ill.) Speedway. Thornton leads the Lucas Oil Late Model Series standings. Last Week: 1

Six-time NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon drove to his second victory of the season and the 58th of his career, which placed him atop the point standings for the first time this season. Last Week: Not Ranked
3. David Gravel
World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel, who has eight victories this season, extended his point lead with a pair of podium finishes last week. Last Week: 3Â
4. Brad Sweet
Brad Sweet regained the point lead with a consistent week of three races in the High Limit Racing series that was topped by a second-place finish at Butler (Mich.) Motor Speedway. Last Week: 5
5. Max Verstappen
Three-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen hopes to get back to the front of the field as the series heads to Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix. Verstappen has won five of the eight races this season. Last Week: 6
6. Denny Hamlin
Consistency continues to be the order of the day for Denny Hamlin and the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing No. 11 team. Hamlin finished second in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at World Wide Technology Raceway. Hamlin has three victories, seven top-five finishes and eight top-10 efforts this season. Last Week: 8
7. Jett Lawrence
After earning eight victories en route to his first Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship, Jett Lawrence kicked off defense of his Pro Motocross Championship title with a victory. However, Lawrence crashed during round two at the Hangtown Classic. Last Week: 2
8. Doug Kalitta
Reigning NHRA Top Fuel champion won for the second time this season Sunday at New England Dragway, jumping to second in the standings. Kalitta also won February’s PRO Superstar Shootout. Last Week: Not Ranked
9. Corey Heim
Corey Heim won Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series round at World Wide Technology Raceway. It was the fourth victory in the past eight races for the Toyota driver. Last Week: Not ranked.
10. Kody Swanson
Seven-time USAC Silver Crown Series champion Kody Swanson won for the third time in four races this season. Swanson banked $26,000 after winning the Hoosier Hundred for the fifth time on Saturday. He’s won all three pavement races this season. Last Week: 9
On The Rise: Scott Dixon rocketed into the Power Rankings after his second IndyCar Series victory of the season, while Doug Kalitta and Corey Heim also entered the top 10.
Free Falling: Indy 500 winner Josef Newgarden dropped from the standings after a forgettable afternoon in the Detroit Grand Prix.Â
