It’s time for a new edition of SPEED SPORT Power Rankings. Who will be on top this week?
1. Ricky Thornton Jr.
Ricky Thornton Jr. remains at the top of the power rankings for a fourth straight week. Thornton earned a feature victory at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Tennessee on Friday. It was his 17th late model triumph of the season. Thornton leads the Lucas Oil Late Model Series standings. Last Week: 1
2. Jett Lawrence
Jett Lawrence was in his dominant form once again, grabbing his third Pro Motocross Championship victory of the summer at High Point National. Lawrence earned eight victories en route to his first Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship earlier this year. Last Week: 3
3. Max Verstappen
Three-time Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen has won six of the nine races this season as the series heads to Spain this weekend. Last Week: 2
4. David Gravel
David Gravel extended his lead in the World of Outlaws points standings and grabbed his ninth victory of the season Friday night at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway. Last Week: 7
5. Daison Pursley
Daison Pursley earned his first USAC Silver Crown Series triumph at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday. Pursley has won in all three USAC national divisions and a winged sprint car this season. Last Week: 4
6. Logan Seavey
Logan Seavey earned a pair of USAC sprint car victories this past week, extending his point lead in the process. Seavey has won seven USAC national sprint car features this season. Last Week: Not Ranked
7. Brad Sweet
Brad Sweet continues to pace the High Limit Racing standings as the series heads into a midsummer break. Sweet will be in action with the World of Outlaws at Huset’s Speedway this week. Last Week: 5
8. Kyle Larson
Kyle Larson earned $55,555 for winning the High Limit Racing event at Eagle Raceway in Nebraska. It was his third series victory. Larson has also won three NASCAR Cup Series races and an Xfinity Series race. Last Week: 6
9. Connor Zilisch
Connor Zilisch earned his second ARCA Menards Series victory Friday at Iowa Speedway. Zilisch has also won the Rolex 24 At Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and picked up a victory in Mazda MX-5 Cup competition. Last Week: Not Ranked
10. Austin Prock
NHRA Funny Car point leader Austin Prock swept the weekend at Bristol (Tenn.) Dragway, wrapping it up with his second national event triumph of the season. Prock also won the PRO Superstar Shootout in February. Last Week: 9
On The Rise: Logan Seavey jumped back into the top 10 in the rankings, while Jett Lawrence moved closer to the top spot.
Free Falling: Will Power and Jonathan Davenport dropped from the top 10 in the power rankings.
