50 — Denny Hamlin claimed his 50th NASCAR Cup Series victory July 23 at Pennsylvania’s Pocono Raceway. He added No. 51 later in the year.

 

100 — Kyle Busch Motorsports earned its 100th NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory with team owner Kyle Busch driving at Pocono Raceway. Busch then sold the operation to Spire Motorsports in late September.

1 — By winning the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series title, Jade Avedisian became the first woman to earn a national midget championship.

3 — Third-generation driver Ryan Blaney scored three victories en route to his first NASCAR Cup Series championship.

6 — Wallys Matt Hagan earned en route to his fourth NHRA Funny Car title. He is now one of four drivers (John Force, Kenny Bernstein and Don Prudhomme) to win four or more Funny Car championships.

 

51 — Eli Tomac earned his 51st career Monster Energy AMA Supercross win April 8 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. He’s second on the all-time list to Jeremy McGrath’s 72 triumphs.
