Glory Days: NASCAR At Trenton 1967

The NASCAR Cup Series visited Trenton (N.J.) Speedway for the 29th race on a 49-event schedule on July 9, 1967.

Richard Petty started from the pole and led 244 of the 300 laps of the one-mile asphalt race track to earn $4,350.

Darel Dieringer finished second and was the only other driver on the lead lap at the end of the race.

Elmo Langley, also pictured, finished fifth, 12 laps behind Petty.
