Six Venues Set To Host F-1 Sprint Races

Six venues will host Formula 1 Sprint races during the 2005 season, including two in the United States.

Formula 1 and the FIA made the announcement on Thursday regarding which events will host the popular 100-kilometer sprints which typically take place on Saturdays of Formula 1 weekends.

have today announced the venues that will host F-1 Sprint events during the 2025 season, with six circuits set to play host to the 100km dash next season.

Next season will mark the fifth season that Sprint races have been part of the Formula 1 slate.

The Miami Grand Prix (May 2-4) will host a Sprint race for the second consecutive season, while Circuit of the Americas will host its third Sprint race during the Oct. 17-19 United States Grand Prix.

Sao Paulo will keep up its run of hosting the Sprint every year since 2021 and Belgium returns for the first time since 2023. Shanghai and Qatar will also host Sprint races next season.

These Sprint races have contributed to increased attendance and television ratings at these Formula 1 events.
