Norris Zips To Top Practice Lap In Belgium

SPA, Belgium — Lando Norris showed impressive pace during Friday’s second practice session for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.

Norris ran a fast lap of one minute and 42.260 seconds, which was .215 seconds quicker than the circuit turned by his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri, who was second quick for the session.

Three-time world champion and point leader Max Verstappen was third for Red Bull, but will be assessed a 10-place grid spot for Sunday’s race because his team turned to a fifth engine for his machine.

Ferrari teammates Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz rounded out the top five.
