SCT Performance has renewed its relationship with Loenbro Motorsports and Steve Arpin.

SCT Performance Back With Arpin & Loenbro

CHINA GROVE, N.C. — SCT Performance has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Loenbro Motorsports and driver Steve Arpin.

SCT branding will appear on Arpin’s No. 00 Ford Fiesta ST throughout the Americas Rallycross season, as well as in other racing and media efforts to be announced at a later date.

“The performance enhancements we can achieve with SCT are phenomenal,” said Arpin. “There are so many ways we use our vehicles away from the track, and SCT will really help us unlock their full potential. Whether it be their SCT line or their Bully Dog products, they have honestly had an impact across the board for us—most importantly, giving our Focus RS that extra power we need for One Lap of America!  From my personal Ford Explorer to the team hospitality Ford F-350 and even up to our Peterbilt Semi Truck, they’ve helped us maximize our performance. In fact, we’ve got some awesome projects lined up with SCT and Hoonigan for later this year that will prove just that.”

“We are excited to once again be partnering with Steve and Loenbro Motorsports. Our tuning products allow users to customize their vehicle to their needs and the Loenbro team is putting it through the paces on a variety of vehicles.” said Jill Hepp, Marketing Director. “Modifying a vehicle with aftermarket parts is only part of the process. Adding the tuning calibration is the final piece to bring it all together to get every ounce of performance from your vehicle.”

For every change made to any vehicle, a custom tune exists that can maximize that vehicle’s performance. SCT products allow Loenbro Motorsports to calibrate its vehicles for greater power and efficiency both on and off the track, even when those vehicles are being adapted to new uses.

While ARX rules limit use of these advancements during race events, the Loenbro Motorsports team is able to use SCT’s advanced products and technologies in test sessions, as they work to provide Arpin with the best possible car to take on this year’s championship.

Arpin will return to action for his seventh season of rallycross competition and second in ARX when the season kicks off this summer. He finished sixth in last year’s championship, closing on a high note with a podium in the season finale at Circuit of the Americas. In his rallycross career, Arpin boasts three victories and 14 podiums in competition across three continents.
