NIOXIN Backs JR Motorsports No. 5

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — NIOXIN, a salon professional hair treatment brand that specializes in hair thinning, will be featured as a primary paint scheme on Kasey Kahne’s No. 5 JR Motorsports Chevrolet in the Sept. 6 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Richmond Int’l Raceway.

It also will receive associate placement on the No. 5 for the remainder of the season, starting this weekend for the Alliance Truck Parts 250 at Michigan Int’l Speedway.

NIOXIN products, sold in Great Clips salons nationwide, use advanced technologies to provide solutions for men and women experiencing hair thinning. Founded in 1987, NIOXIN is supported by 25 years of research to deliver thicker, fuller, denser-looking hair. It features an array of products, including the popular three-part thinning hair-system kits.

NIOXIN will appear on No. 5 Chevrolet Camaros that are driven by a platoon of drivers, primarily Kahne and Brad Sweet with Great Clips as the primary sponsor.

Sweet will return to the seat this weekend for his second consecutive race in the No. 5 and fifth overall this season. Kahne has driven it in six races in 2013 and finished no worse than 9th in five of them. Jeffrey Earnhardt and Jimmie Johnson have each taken a turn in No. 5 this year as well.

Sweet’s race at Iowa last weekend started a stint in which he’ll drive four of the next five races in the No. 5 Chevrolet, with Johnny O’Connell taking the road-course event at Road America on June 22.
