LEXINGTON, N.C. – Justin Haley will transition to the NASCAR Xfinity Series next year after signing a multi-year deal to join Kaulig Racing.
Beginning with the season opener at Daytona Int’l Speedway in February, 19-year-old Haley will drive the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro owned by Matt Kaulig. Haley replaces Ryan Truex in the No. 11 Kaulig Racing entry.
“I am really looking forward to 2019,” said Kaulig. “Justin is coming off of the best season of his young career and I can’t wait to see what he can do in the No. 11 car.”
Haley, the 2016 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East champion, just completed his second season of competition in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, where he drove for GMS Racing. After a mediocre rookie season in 2017, Haley broke through in a big way in 2018.
The native of Winamac, Ind., earned three victories this year at Gateway Motorsports Park, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Texas Motor Speedway, which catapulted him to third in the final series standings in his sophomore season.
Details regarding personnel and sponsorship for Haley and the No. 11 team will be announced at a later date.
