LEXINGTON, N.C. – Kaulig Racing has announced the addition of A.J. Allmendinger to its NASCAR Xfinity Series driver roster.

Allmendinger, who has spent the past 13 years driving in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, will drive the No. 10 Chevrolet for multiple races.

Additionally, Allmendinger recently signed a multi-year contract with NBC Sports Group as a motorsports analyst for both IMSA on NBC and NASCAR America. He was also named a member of NBCSN’s American Flat Track broadcast team on Thursday.

“I am excited for the opportunity to hop back into a Xfinity Series car,” said Allmendinger. “I look forward to helping Kaulig Racing build their program, as well as, fight for wins with them.”

Throughout his career, Allmendinger has recorded one win and 11 top-five finishes in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and two wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He also boasts a successful career in IMSA, winning the Rolex 24 in 2012 as part of Michael Shank Racing.

“I am looking forward to seeing what A.J. can do in the No. 10 Kaulig Racing Chevy,” said Kaulig Racing President Chris Rice. He is another talented driver that we have tapped to wheel our All-Star car and I can’t wait to see it compete for wins.”
