MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Multi-time USAC champion Chris Windom has joined DGR-Crosley to compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway next week.
The 27-year-old driver will pilot No. 54 Baldwin Brothers Racing/Central Abrasives Toyota Tundra in Wednesday’s 150 lap race.
“The opportunity to team with DGR-Crosley allows me to compete for a win at a track that’s had a significant impact on my career,” said Windom. “Eldora means so much to dirt racers everywhere, and the Truck Series race has become a must-see event in which I’m proud to take part.”
The Canton, Ill., native has had a lot of success at dirt tracks across the country. He won the 2016 USAC Silver Crown Series championship and in 2017 backed it up by winning the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series championship.
Windom has six victories at Eldora Speedway during his career, including one in May during the annual #LetsRaceTwo event.
Windom made his Truck Series debut last year at Eldora Speedway driving for MB Motorsports, finishing 19th. He also competed for MB Motorsports at Martinsville Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.
