DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – AM Racing will field a pair of Toyota Tundras in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series opener at Daytona Int’l Speedway on Friday.
Austin Wayne Self will pilot the team’s newest entry, the No. 32 Toyota. J.J. Yeley was previously announced as the driver of the No. 22 Toyota for Daytona.
“I can’t wait to get back to Daytona this week,” said Self. “The guys at the shop in North Carolina have really been working hard to put two competitive trucks together and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do on the track later this week.”
Aiding Self’s efforts this week is longtime partner AM Technical Solutions.
“The ongoing support from AM Technical Solutions means a lot, but I’m equally proud to represent our newest partner B&D Industries,” said Self. “Daytona is such an important race, not only because it’s the first race in the season, but because it’s one of our biggest races of the year. We had a decent showing last year, so I’m hoping we can go out there on Friday night, put ourselves in a good spot and have a good finish. Everyone deserves it.”
