Rhodes On Pole For Charlotte Truck Series Return

CONCORD, N.C. – When the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series returns to competition for the first time since February on Tuesday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, it will be Ben Rhodes who leads the field to the green flag.

Rhodes, driver of the No. 99 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing, was selected to start from the pole via random draw. He’ll be joined on the front row by GMS Racing driver Tyler Ankrum in the No. 26 Chevrolet Silverado.

Reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch is scheduled to start 16th. Chase Elliott, making his first Truck Series start since 2017, will start 26th in a truck fielded by GMS Racing.

The top-10 in 2019 owner points drew for starting positions 1-10 for Tuesday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200. The same was done for positions 11-21 and 22-32, with the final eight starting positions in the 40-truck field decided based on order of eligibility.
