Crawford Sentenced To 130 Months In Jail

ORLANDO, Fla. – Former NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race winner Rick Crawford has been sentenced to 130 months in federal prison after being convicted of attempted enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.

Sixty-year-old Crawford, who was arrested in March and convicted of the crime in August, was sentenced Monday at the United States District Court Middle District of Florida in Orlando, Fla.

In addition to his time in jail, Crawford has been fined $5,000 and will also be required to register as a sex offender.

The native of Mobile, Ala., made 336 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series from 1997 to 2013, earning five victories and a best finish of second in the series standings in 2002. His last victory came in 2006 at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Ind.
