MONTREAL – Alex Tagliani has tabbed Treyten Lapcevich to drive the No. 18 22 Racing Team Chevrolet during the NASCAR Pinty’s Series twin 125-lap races at Sunset Speedway in Ontario this Saturday.
Tagliani will be busy racing the Kyle Busch Motorsports No. 51 Toyota Tundra in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series event at the Daytona Int’l Speedway road course on Sunday, necessitating the driver change.
Treyten Lapcevich is the younger brother of 2016 NASCAR Pinty’s Series champion Cayden Lapcevich. Both drivers are the sons of Jeff Lapcevich, another NASCAR Pinty’s veteran and a former driver in the late 1980’s Player’s/GM Series.
