DANVILLE, Va. – Danville Toyota Scion has announced sponsorship of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Biscuitville 125 scheduled for Aug. 24 at Virginia Int’l Raceway.
In a partnership between two Southern Virginia neighbors, Danville Toyota Scion and VIR will host the weekend event featuring NASCAR’s rising stars. The race marks NASCAR’s inaugural appearance on VIR’s challenging 2.25 mile North Course, which includes 22 turns and 100 feet of elevation changes.
“We are honored to be partnering with Virginia Int’l Raceway for this historic event. We are certain this race will be the expansion of an already growing relationship with one of the most beautiful and exciting tracks out there,” said Teresa Wiseman, Vice President of Operations for Danville Toyota Scion.
The decision to partner with Danville Toyota for this important race was an easy one, according to Connie Nyholm, VIR Owner and CEO.
“VIR is excited to have Danville Toyota as the Official Automotive Partner for our first NASCAR event,” said Nyholm. “Danville Toyota has long supported VIR and we’re thrilled they are growing their existing partnership for this exciting inaugural event.”
Special events will be hosted at the dealership to highlight Danville Toyota Scion’s and VIR’s first step into NASCAR. Danville Toyota Scion invites customers to visit the dealership in the coming weeks to experience a Toyota or Scion and enjoy race-related giveaways.
“We have some exciting promotions coming up, including ticket giveaways for customers to join us at VIR,” said Sam Keeter, General Manager of Danville Toyota Scion.
