CONCORD, N.C. — Tanner Gray won the pole for Friday night’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Gray earned the top spot with a time of 30.296 seconds (178.241 mph) over TRICON Garage teammate Corey Heim, who will start second.
Ty Majeski will start third to pace Ford while Rajah Caruth and Layne Riggs round out the top five .
Points leader Christian Eckes suffered damage in practice and did not record a qualifying lap. He will start from the rear.
Justin Carroll and Jennifer Jo Cobb failed to qualify.
