STATESVILLE, N.C. — BK Racing has announced that the Mardi Gras colors of purple and gold for New Orleans, La., born brand VooDoo BBQ & Grill will return as a continuing partner for the team’s two Toyota Camrys fielded for Sunoco Rookie of the Year contenders Alex Bowman and Ryan Truex.

VooDoo BBQ & Grill served as the primary sponsor of the team’s No. 83 car at the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2013.

VooDoo BBQ & Grill opened its first location in New Orleans, La., on Mardi Gras Day 2002 and has expanded to reach 57 planned locations in six states. VooDoo serves competition-style barbecue beef, pork and chicken with unique side dishes, plus salads and sandwiches, in a clean, colorful fast-casual environment. VooDoo currently has 16 locations in Louisiana, Florida and South Carolina. They have been the recipient of many taste and business awards, as well as charitable support for many worthwhile causes throughout the state of Louisiana.

“We’re thrilled to continue this opportunity to be associated with NASCAR and the BK Racing Team,” said Tony Avila, chief executive officer of VooDoo BBQ & Grill. “The level of exposure we saw for VooDoo at Homestead was unparalleled. We appreciate Ron Devine and the entire team at BK Racing for this tremendous opportunity to continue our relationship into this new season.”

“VooDoo’s unique offering gave BK Racing and NASCAR a boost at the end of 2013 leading into the 2014 season,” said team owner Ron Devine. “I feel that VooDoo’s continued growth, along with BK Racing’s will make for a great long-term partnership.”
