MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Will Rodgers is returning to the NASCAR Xfinity Series thanks to a new relationship with Sam Hunt Racing.
Rodgers, who made four Xfinity Series starts in 2019 and has four combined victories between the ARCA Menards Series East and West divisions, will pilot the team’s No. 26 Toyota Supra in multiple races this season.
He’ll make his first start for the team later this month at Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tenn. The car will carry sponsorship from GoodRx. Additional races have not been announced.
As part of his relationship with GoodRx, Rodgers will be a part of a new campaign to raise awareness, education, testing and treatment for hepatitis C called the Race to End Hep C. Rodgers was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), a chronic liver disease, when he was 3 years old.
He continues to live with the disease and formed the Will Rodgers Liver Health Foundation (a 501(c)(3) organization) as part of his efforts to bring more awareness to liver diseases like hepatitis C. Visit racetoendhepc.com for more information.
