NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Kyle Weatherman has been fined $25,000 following the series’ event at Portland (Ore.) Int’l Raceway.
The DGM Racing driver was penalized after he made contact with another race car on pit road following the race. He finished 25th in the event. Shane van Gisbergen scored the victory at the 1.967-mile road course.
Weatherman was in violation of Sections 4.4.B&D in the NASCAR Rule Book, which references the NASCAR Code of Conduct.
