LAS VEGAS — Ryan Ellis will join DGM Racing as a full-time driver in the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series next season.
Ellis will make his debut with the family-owned racing organization, based out of Lake Wales, Fla., in the season-opener race at DGM Racing’s home track Daytona International Speedway with sponsorship from Classic Collision.
Mario Gosselin, team owner of DGM Racing, expresses his excitement about working with Ellis, “We are thrilled to welcome Ryan to our family and looking forward to advancing our Xfinity program together. Solidifying next year’s season this early on is huge for our small team. Having the resources this soon gives us the opportunity to upgrade some of our equipment and start preparing in a way we have been unable to in prior seasons, which I believe will result in our best on track performance.”
Ellis, a native of Ashburn, Va., has always had a passion for motorsports. He began his racing career in karting at the young age of four, quickly transitioning to stock cars and showcasing his talent in various regional and national touring series as he collected many wins and championships along the way.
Since his first NASCAR start in 2012, Ellis has made a name for himself working with several teams and racing in all three NASCAR national series, logging more than 150 starts – most of which came from his recent stint with Alpha Prime Racing in the NXS. As a third-generation race car driver, his passion for racing and dedication to the sport make him a perfect fit for DGM Racing’s strong family roots and commitment to growth.
“Chatting with Mario about his plans for the program in 2025 convinced me that joining DGM was something I couldn’t pass up. He’s a racer, and his enthusiasm was immediately contagious,” Ellis stated. “I have so much respect for what the Gosselin family has built, and I hope that we can turn some heads together next year. I’ve seen just how high the potential is at DGM, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
Several of Ellis’ longtime partners will be joining the family with him as he makes the move to DGM Racing, including his core partner, Classic Collision.
Ellis brings more than 15 primary partners to the team including, Sweetwater Construction, Southern Elevator, Eclipse Claims, Four Loko, Renascent, Rich Mar Florist, Rolling Plains Construction, Pella Window & Door of Georgia, Dakota Riggers and many more yet to be announced.
