LAKE WALES, Fla. – DGM Racing officials announced Monday that driver Josh Williams would not return to the team next season.
The team plans to field at least two cars in the NASCAR Xfinity Series next year and stated in a press release that negotiations are underway with experienced and funded drivers to take over the seat of the No. 92 entry vacated by Williams.Â
A full driver lineup for the team will be announced at a later date. Â
“We’ve had a good run and accomplished great things together,” said team owner Mario Gosselin. “I am excited for Josh’s future in NASCAR and can’t wait to see what he achieves.”
Williams joined DGM Racing in 2017 on a part-time basis before running his first full season with the team in 2019. Â During his time at DGM Racing, Williams earned eight top-10 finishes with a best finish of sixth at Kansas Speedway last season.
