Our Motorsports’ Jeb Burton posted the fastest speed in Saturday morning’s NASCAR Xfinity Series practice session at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia.
Burton recorded a top speed of 178.879 mph around the reconfigured 1.54-mile track.
He was followed by Phoenix winner Noah Gragson (178.683 mph), Sam Mayer (178.321), Brett Moffitt (178.258) and Kyle Weatherman (178.035).
“The car is fast,” Gragson told Fox Sports 1. “A lot of steam under the hood. The car feels good. What I was most happy with was I could go anywhere I wanted coming up through the pack.”
