DAYTONA BEACH, S.C. – Daniel Hemric will continue his pursuit of his first NASCAR Xfinity Series victory from the pole Saturday at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway.
The Joe Gibbs Racing driver earned the pole by having the highest qualifying metric score following the most recent race at Daytona Int’l Speedway of those entered at Darlington.

A.J. Allmendinger, who moved into the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship lead after his runner-up finish at Daytona, will join Hemric on the front row.Â
Justin Haley, who won last week at Daytona, starts third alongside Justin Allgaier in fourth. Jeb Burton, Harrison Burton, Riley Herbst, Noah Gragson, Myatt Snider and Brett Moffitt completed the top-10 starters.Â
Denny Hamlin will make a rare NASCAR Xfinity Series start in the No. 54 for Joe Gibbs Racing. He’ll start 14th.Â
