Hemric Moving To Kaulig’s No. 10 Entry

Daniel Hemric will move to Kaulig Racing’s No. 10 Chevrolet entry for the remainder of the NASCAR Xfinity Series season, the team announced Wednesday.

Hemric, who currently competes full time for the team’s No. 11 entry, heads into the Xfinity Series regular season finale at Kansas Speedway 10th in points, needing a win to secure a spot in the owner standings playoffs.

With Kaulig’s No. 10 Chevy entry scoring three victories with A.J. Allmendinger (Austin, Texas’ Circuit of The Americas, Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway) and Kyle Larson (Darlington (S.C.) Raceway) earlier this season, the No. 10 team sits fifth in the owner standings.

The team released a statement detailing the change.

“As we prepare to close out the 2023 season, Daniel Hemric will take over the No. 10 Chevrolet for the remaining races to contend for the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship,” Kaulig Racing President Chris Rice said.

By starting Saturday’s event at Kansas, Hemric locks into the driver playoffs.

Derek Kraus will pilot Hemric’s No. 11 Chevy this weekend at Kansas.

Hemric, the 2021 Xfinity Series champion, has 13 top-10 finishes this season.Â
