BROOKLYN, Mich. – Noah Gragson will start on pole for Saturday’s New Holland 250 at Michigan International Speedway.
The JR Motorsports driver laid down the fastest lap around the 2-mile oval at 190.370 miles per hour.
“I feel really comfortable and confident with this team,” Gragson said. “We’re here to win races. We really want to win at this place in particular… We just need to stay focused throughout the race and be there at the end.”
Behind Gragson, last week’s winner A.J. Allmendinger narrowly missed out on the pole by 0.006 seconds.
Rounding out the top five was JR Motorsports driver Justin Allgaier in third, Kaulig Racing’s Daniel Hemric in fourth, and Joe Gibbs Racing rookie Sammy Smith in fifth.
