DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Noah Gragson will chase his third-straight NASCAR Xfinity Series triumph from the pole when the series invades Bristol Motor Speedway Friday night.
Gragson will start on the pole for the Food City 300 based on his qualifying metric score following last Saturday’s race at Richmond (Va.) Raceway.
Justin Allgaier, Gragson’s JR Motorsports teammate, will join him on the front row for Friday’s race. Rookie sensation Ty Gibbs starts third, followed by Daniel Hemric and Justin Haley.
Harrison Burton, Jeb Burton, Riley Herbst, Austin Cindric and A.J. Allmendinger complete the top-10 starters.Â
Friday’s race at Bristol Motor Speedway is the last race before the start of the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs. Herbst holds a 66-point advantage over Michael Annett in the battle for the final playoff spot heading into Friday’s race.Â
