Dale Earnhardt Jr. will make his second NASCAR Xfinity Series start of the year at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway on Oct. 21 for the Contender Boats 250.
The NASCAR Hall of Famer will also race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway on Sept. 15.
Since retiring from the Cup Series in 2017, Earnhardt Jr. has entered one Xfinity Series race each season. He has collected three top-five finishes over the last five years, with a best result of fourth at Richmond (Va.) Raceway in 2018.
The 48-year-old announced the latest addition to his 2023 schedule on Thursday morning, also revealing the Bass Pro Shops-sponsored paint scheme on the No. 88 Chevrolet he’ll pilot at the 1.5-mile oval in October.
Earnhardt Jr. is a 24-time winner in the Xfinity Series.
