DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Reigning NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Austin Cindric will start the Xfinity Series playoffs from the pole during Saturday’s Alsco Uniform 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Cindric, who finished second to A.J. Allmendinger last week at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway in a thrilling finish, will start on the pole at Las Vegas based on his qualifying metric score following last Friday’s race at Bristol.Â
Allmendinger, who narrowly beat Cindric across the finish line last Friday night at Bristol to secure the regular season Xfinity Series championship, will start second at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Justin Allgaier, Justin Haley and Harrison Burton will start third through fifth.
ARCA Menards Series championship leader and three-time Xfinity Series race winner Ty Gibbs starts sixth, followed by Daniel Hemric, Brandon Jones, Noah Gragson and Riley Herbst.Â
