Josh Berry will lead the NASCAR Xfinity Series field to the green flag at Michigan Int’l Speedway during Saturday’s Cabo Wabo 250.
The JR Motorsports driver topped Friday’s qualifying session in his No. 8 Chevrolet, turning a 37.985-second lap at 189.549 mph. He will be joined by teammate Justin Allgaier on the front row. Allgaier’s fastest lap was 38.239 seconds (188.289 mph).
Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Hill and JR Motorsports’ Sam Mayer, who won last week’s race at Road America, will start from the second row. Stewart-Haas Racing’s Riley Herbst qualified fifth.
Chandler Smith, Carson Hocevar, Ty Gibbs, Sammy Smith and John Hunter Nemechek completed the top 10.
The Xfinity Series race will commence at 3:30 p.m. (ET).
