SEEKONK, Mass. — Matt Hirschman won Saturday’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Seekonk Speedway. He defeated Austin Beers by 1.769 seconds for his ninth career series victory.
Ron Silk, Stephen Kopcik and Justin Bonsignore rounded out the top five, while Jacob Lutz, Kyle Bonsignore, Patrick Emerling, Jake Johnson and Matt Swanson completed the top 10.
Of note, Tommy Catalano finished 13th, Doug Coby 14th and Kyle Ebersole 17th.
Twelve of the 23 starters finished on the lead lap at the 0.33-mile oval.
Silk leads driver’s points by 16 over Justin Bonsignore.
The series returns on Saturday, June 22 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
