Van Gisbergen’s Cup Series Schedule Takes Shape

Shane van Gisbergen will pilot the No. 16 Chevrolet for Kaulig Racing at seven NASCAR Cup Series races in 2024.

As previously announced, the team will also field the three-time Australian Supercars champion full time in the Xfinity Series, with van Gisbergen driving the No. 97 entry.

However, Kaulig Racing announced van Gisbergen’s Cup Series schedule on Thursday. 

The New Zealand native will compete at Circuit of the Americas, Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, two races at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway and at the Chicago street course, which he won at in 2023 with Trackhouse Racing.
