MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Daniel Suarez has driven for four different teams during his NASCAR Cup Series career, but he’s hoping to stay at Trackhouse Racing a little longer.
Suarez is in his fourth season with the team that is co-owned by Justin Marks and Pitbull, and he said he expects to sign a contract extension with the operation that also fields a full-time entry for Ross Chastain.
“I found a place where they just don’t believe in me, but my voice has a weight and I am able to make adjustments based on my team and what I see and feel,” Suarez said. “They have given me the opportunity to build an organization.”
Suarez ran his first Cup Series season in 2017 and joined the Trackhouse team in 2021. He won his first Cup Series race with Trackhouse in 2022 and earned his second victory earlier this season at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
The Monterrey, Mexico, native won the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series title.
