KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Christopher Bell rocketed to his fourth pole of the NASCAR Cup Series season Saturday at Kansas Speedway.
Bell drove his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota to a best lap of 180.276 mph in the final round of the session, earning the top starting spot for Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400 at the 1.5-mile speedway.
It was Bell’s second pole at Kansas and the eighth of his career.
Bell’s JGR teammate, Martin Truex Jr., qualified third, with Larson’s teammate, Chase Elliott fourth.
Tyler Reddick will start fifth in a 23XI Racing Toyota.
