DARLINGTON, S.C. — Darlington Raceway announced Sunday that the grandstands are sold out for the 75th Annual Cook Out Southern 500. Infield camping and suites are also sold out for this crown jewel event that caps Labor Day Weekend.
“We could not be more grateful for the immense support from our fans,” said Darlington Raceway President Josh Harris. “They continuously show why they are the heart and soul of the Lady in Black, and we can’t wait to witness the dramatic NASCAR Cup Series regular-season finale with them tonight.”
This marks the fourth consecutive sellout for the Cook Out Southern 500 without pandemic restrictions, a feat that proves just how momentous this event is on the NASCAR schedule.
The green flag for the Cook Out Southern 500 waved tonight at 6:05 p.m. ET. The race is being broadcast on USA Network, MRN Radio and SiriusXM Radio.
