Tyler Reddick was a bit of a dark horse during the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season.
The 27-year-old snuck his way into the Round of 8 for the first time in his career and steadily made progress in his No. 45 Toyota, though it all came to an end during the Martinsville (Va.) Speedway cutoff race in October.
Still, the 23XI Racing driver stacked up two wins during the season — one at Circuit of the Americas in Texas and another at Kansas Speedway — and brought his career total up to five.
In addition, Reddick also collected 10 top-fives and 16 top-10s, a career best.
He led 470 laps and had an average finish of 15.7.
“We’ve shown flashes of potential, right? We haven’t put it all together,” Reddick noted during the Round of 12 cutoff at the Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway ROVAL. “But we show week-in and week-out, we have the speed that can get us through these playoff rounds.”
