Phil Parsons
The younger brother of 1973 NASCAR Cup Series champion Benny Parsons, Phil Parsons was never quite able to follow in his big brother’s footsteps. He did, however, manage to earn one Cup Series victory.
That victory came in 1988 at Talladega Superspeedway. Driving for Lee and Richard Jackson, Parsons led 52 laps, including the final nine, aboard the No. 55 Crown Petroleum Oldsmobile.
