Casey Mears

The son of famed off-road racer Roger Mears, Casey Mears earned his only Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series victory in one of the sports’ biggest events — the Coca-Cola 600.

Relying on a fuel-mileage gamble, Mears kept his No. 25 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet on the track during the 2007 edition of the race while all the other leaders came to pit road late in the race. The gamble paid off and Mears won the only race of his career after leading the final six laps.
