NASCAR Confiscates Parts From Two Stewart-Haas Teams

During pre-race inspection at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway, NASCAR confiscated parts from the No. 10 and No. 41 Stewart-Haas Racing cars.

NASCAR removed the roof rail deflectors from the two SHR entries — driven by Noah Gragson (No. 10) and Ryan Preece (No. 41) — which the crews have now replaced for the remaining weekend. Meanwhile, NASCAR will further assess the parts and deliver any related penalties next week.

There were no details released regarding the reason the parts were confiscated.

However, both the No. 10 and No. 41 teams will be allowed to participate in the race weekend as normal.

The full NASCAR Cup Series field will take the green flag for the Ambetter Health 400 at 3 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, with qualifying scheduled for 11:35 a.m. (ET) on Saturday.Â
