McLeod To Pilot MBM No. 66 At Charlotte

STATESVILLE, N.C. — Motorsports Business Management and Power Source have tabbed B.J. McLeod to pilot the No. 66 Truan Equipment Company Ford Mustang Dark Horse in Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

McLeod, a veteran of more than 350 NASCAR national series starts, replaces David Starr, who became unavailable with a schedule conflict during the Memorial Day weekend race. Starr will be working back home, having sold a big event for his Team Texas driving school at Texas Motor Speedway.

“B.J. has two years of full-time experience with the NextGen car. He will be helping us with

the learning curve of our program,” said team owner Carl Long.

McLeod has made six previous Coca-Cola 600 starts.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to be at the track this weekend in the No. 66 Truan Equipment Company Ford Mustang. I look forward to not only getting back behind the wheel, but also to

help MBM’s program as they continue to learn and grow,” said McLeod.

The No. 66 entry will carry primary sponsorship from Truan Equipment. Based in Knoxville,

Tennessee, Truan Equipment sells and rents several types of low-hour construction

Equipment.
