INDIANAPOLIS — Lucas Oil is set to continue its multi-race partnership as the primary sponsor for Kyle Busch’s No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet for the Firekeepers Casino 400 at Michigan Int’l Speedway on Aug. 18.
This is the second race of the season the Lucas Oil paint scheme will hit the track.
“Kyle is an amazing athlete and has been fantastic to work with during this partnership. We are thrilled to have him back behind the wheel of the Lucas Oil No.8 Chevrolet and there is no doubt he has what it takes to reach victory lane in Michigan,” said Lucas Oil Director of Partnership Marketing Brandon Bernstein.
“Our partnership with RCR and ECR Engines is as strong as it’s ever been, and we are very excited to see how Kyle and all of the teams perform at one of NASCAR’s fastest speedways.”
Lucas Oil has been the official lubricant of RCR and ECR Engines since 2014 and is the official motor oil of ECR Engines.
“This has been a very competitive season for both RCR and ECR Engines, and Michigan is the perfect place to have Lucas Oil back as the primary sponsor of the No. 8 Chevrolet,” said RCR President Torrey Galida. “Every week, RCR and ECR Engines rely on Lucas Oil products to help give us the most horsepower in the sport, and they always deliver.
“Our long-term partnership helps us perform our best, and we are so proud to partner with Lucas Oil as we continue competing for championships.”
