MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Joey Gase will return to Rick Ware Racing for the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series season beginning with the Daytona 500 at Daytona Int’l Speedway on Feb. 14.
“I am very excited to be racing for Rick Ware Racing again this year in the NASCAR Cup Series,” said Gase. “Lisa and Rick (Ware) treat us like family. Caitlin and I even take Carson and Jace to the shop and let them run around and play. It’s an awesome family atmosphere.
“We learned a lot together as a team last season with some high notes and low notes, but I am really looking forward to see what 2021 has in store as we are all doing big things to take the whole team to the next level.”
Gase competed in 32 of the 36 NASCAR Cup Series races last year for Rick Ware Racing. His best finish of the season came last fall at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway, where he finished 17th.
