Corey Heim will be the reserve driver for Legacy Motor Club and 23XI Racing during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
He will also serve as the simulator driver for Legacy, according to Heim’s social media post on Thursday morning.Â
Heim has been a regular in the Truck Series over the past two seasons and has earned five wins, 18 top fives and 29 top 10s during that time. This coming year, the 21-year-old will run the full Truck schedule with TRICON Garage, as well as a part-time Xfinity Series slate with Sam Hunt Racing.Â
His duties as a reserve and simulator driver will be in addition to his existing commitments.Â
“Can’t wait to learn from and work with all the great minds at both of these teams,” Heim said on X.Â
I'm grateful to announce that I've been signed by @LEGACYMotorClub as their simulator & reserve driver for this season and will also be the reserve driver for @23XIRacing . Can’t wait to learn from and work with all the great minds at both of these teams! #TeamToyota pic.twitter.com/KiGsAAUmTk
