MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Longtime iRacing proponent Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be in the field when the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series makes its season debut on the dirt at the virtual Bristol Motor Speedway March 24.
Earnhardt will pilot the No. 88 Degree Chevrolet.
The eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series debuted last season during the initial pandemic slowdown and features a 10-race season that complements NASCAR’s real-life racing schedule.
The mid-week competition will broadcast the first five races of the season in primetime on FOX Sports 1, and NBC Sports will air the final five races.
The schedule and details for NBC Sports’ portion of the Pro Invitational Series will be announced at a later date.
The green-and-black paint scheme for the No. 88 Degree Chevrolet will be on at Bristol, which has seen its concrete surface covered in racing dirt for this season’s spring race. Additional paint schemes will be announced at a later date.
One common theme on all future paint schemes will be the addition of Walmart +. Walmart launched the new membership program last fall, which brings in-store and online benefits together to save customers money and time.
Unilever brands will be incorporated on each of the paint schemes through the Walmart + program, and customers can purchase their favorite Unilever brands like Degree, Hellmann’s, and Dove Men+Care through Walmart +.
